We've been using Kalita Wave drippers almost exclusively at our shops for a couple of years now.  We're delighted by the ability they've given us to produce incredibly consistent coffee brew after brew.  The quality of the coffee is also notable - balanced and articulate - neither too bodily and dense, nor too clean and bright. We feel that we've found the perfect balance that suits most every coffee - with ease of use and repeatability. They are constructed of stainless steel, which is durable and easy to clean - in our experience it also does a solid job of keeping the brewing environment nice and hot. If there's one pour-over device to have then this is it.

The 155 is quite small - only ideal for about 10 ounces of coffee maximum - a nice mug for one or a couple smaller ones for two. The 185 has a taller and wider opening and can accommodate up to 30 ounces of brew.
